Our Team
At our Child University, there are many outstanding individuals who dedicate their efforts to providing the very best for your child.  Our team consists of school Directors, a Director of Quality, a Curriculum Enhancement Director, Lead Teachers, Associate Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and a nurse.  Each and every one of us are always here to help you in any way.
Our Approach
We use a cooperative approach to meeting the needs of parents and their children.  To meet the high standards we have set for ourselves and to adhere to our pledge of providing the very best education in the safest environment, we implement our learning standards through a nationally recognized curriculum.  We use learning centers throughout the classroom to educate children and to allow them to experience age appropriate activities designed just for them.
 

 

Where did this name come from - A Safer Start?

Once upon a time, a husband and wife team were determined to create something truly innovative in the field of early learning and child care. 

They knew that most parents recognized the necessity of early childhood education, nurturance, and childhood socialization, but many parents often felt a void in not knowing what their child was actually doing during the day while they were at work or traveling. 

Or, perhaps the parent felt a little uneasy about not being able to check in on their child as much as they would like during the day.  So, combining their unique backgrounds and education, Lynsey and Jay designed an early learning center that allowed parents to see their child from a password protected web site at any time of the day through any Internet connection.  This gives parents the peace of mind in knowing that with just a simple click of a button they can see their precious child having fun, interacting with children his or her own age, and learning in a safe and secure environment.  Right from your desk at work, your computer at home, or your laptop from another part of the world, your child is always a simple click away. 

What is a Child University? 

Offering parents a secure door access system and the opportunity to see their children online simply isn’t enough.  There must also be a strong curriculum and educational focus to ensure the children who attend this program are receiving a top quality developmental and educational experience that is second to none.  Parents who enroll their child at A Safer Start Child University know that their child is receiving the very best in care and education.  Our goal is to ensure that your child is prepared for kindergarten and beyond through the learning centers, curriculum, and supporting lesson plans that create the exciting and fun programs at our unique Child University.
